Blas Garcia

Blas Garcia, 89, entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at his residence in Edinburg, Texas. He was born on a Tuesday, November 6, 1932 in Reynosa, Mexico to Florentino Garcia and Luisa Muniz. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Maria Amalia Garcia and his 4 sisters and 3 Brothers.
He is survived by his children; Yolanda Garcia Luna and Maria Adelaida (Ramiro) Garcia Gonzalez, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great, great granddaughter and brother; Florentino (Susana) Garcia as well as numberous nieces.
Blas was a hard worker, working over 27 years at Golden Jersey Crematory and for 2 years with Hygeia Dairy. Blas especially loved being with his family. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos -Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 3:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 114 W. Fay St., Edinburg, Texas. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road, Edinburg, Texas. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and Staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
