Aciana R. Diaz

Aciana “Chana” R. Diaz, 85, entered eternal rest on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center in Edinburg, Texas. He is preceded by her parents, her husband; Rogelio Diaz, grandson; Jesse Davila, 2 sisters and 1 brothers.

Aciana is survived by her loving children; Rogelio Diaz, Jr., Veronica Diaz, Sandra Diaz and Jessica Diaz, 4 brothers, 4 grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

“Chana” as she was affectionately known by friends and family, loved cooking, gardening and sewing as well as doing puzzles, playing bingo and singing. But her favorite pastime was spending time with her family. Aciana will be missed by family, friends and all those whose lives she touched.

The Diaz Family will receive friends and family on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. Burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road in Edinburg. Funeral Services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Funeral Director/Manager and staff at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
