Adam R. Garcia

Adam Garcia, 74, entered eternal rest on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Hidalgo Nursing and Rehabilitation in Edinburg. Adam was born on a Friday, February 17, 1950 in Natalia, Texas to Juan Garcia and Jospina Resendez Garcia. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister; Irene Garcia.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years; Olivia Garcia, two sons, one daughter, two brothers; Juan Carlos Garcia and Ramiro Garcia, two sisters; Esther Garcia and Mary Lou Garcia, numerous grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Adam was a truck driver for many years and was a cowboy at heart. He loved wearing his boots and hats as well as watching western movies. Although he enjoyed relaxing at home, spending time with his family was his greatest love in his life.

The Garcia Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1302 East Champion in Edinburg. Burial to follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens, 4607 North Sugar Road in Pharr, Texas. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Noe Adrian Casarez, Enrique “Kike” Garza, Omar De La Rosa, Juan Gonzalez, Leonel Laurel and Hector Garza. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Funeral Director/Manager and staff at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
