Adan Munoz, 48, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 22, 2010 at McAllen Medical Center. He was born on March 20, 1961 in Edinburg, Texas to Rumaldo Munoz, Sr., and Consuelo Vasques.
Adan is survived by parents; son; Samuel Adam (Erica Denise Garza) Munoz, daughter; Sylvia (Lucas Copenhaver) Schelstrate, brothers; Jose Guadalupe (Velma) Munoz, Gustavo (Martha) Munoz, Ventura (Nena) Munoz, Rumaldo Munoz, Jr., Jose Jesus (Esmeralda) Munoz, Jorge (Cynthia) Munoz, Roberto (Carol) Munoz, sister; Rosalinda (DiGabriel) Camero, grandchildren; Kodi Schelstrate, Nathan Schelstrate, Dominic Ethan Munoz, Canyon Copenhaver and numerous nieces and nephews.
Adan was a calm and passive man. He loved to read and run. He especially loved welding and carpentry. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
Visitation services for Adan were held Monday, January 25, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg, with a prayer service held at 7:00 p.m. Christian services were held Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial followed to Rio Grande Valley Veterans State Cemetery in Mission, Texas. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
