Adela was a very talented woman who enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, oil painting, and cooking. Her lovely oil paintings and ceramics are displayed throughout her home and the homes of her children. Adela’s love of gardening and plants lasted a lifetime. She could nurture any seed or cutting in to the most beautiful and fruitful plant. Adela was always happy to share her plants or gardening knowledge with her loved ones and friends. The family will truly miss the delicious holiday meals she would prepare, especially family favorites such as her homemade flour tortillas, apple pie, carne guisada and famous stuffing.
