Albert Martinez

Albert Martinez, 87, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022 at his residence in Hargill, Texas. He was born on a Sunday, December 16, 1934 in Chilton, Texas to John Martinez and Lena Gonzales Martinez. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Diane Martinez Thompson and siblings; 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Left to cherish their memories together is his wife of 60 years; Esther A. Martinez, daughters; Elma Nora Garza and Velma (Joe) Baldelli, sons; Rudy Edward (Rosalba) Martinez, Albert Martinez and Richard Ray (Anita) Martinez, 12 grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Albert was a hardworking, humble man dedicating himself to his family, He enjoyed farming and gardening and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.
His family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, for a memorial service from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. Services will conclude following the memorial service. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
