Alvaro Rios, age 87, passed away to be with our Lord on March 24, 2010 In Edinburg. He was born in Los Sabinos Allende, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on December 4, 1922 to Librado Rios and Guadalupe Alaniz.
Mr. Rios is preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons; Alvaro Rios, Librado (Rosie) Rios, daughters; Susana (Alfonso) Cavazos, Aurelia (Adan) Almenaci, 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Family received friends March 27, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Burial followed to Val-Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, Texas. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
