Antonia Padron

Antonia Padron, 92, entered eternal rest on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Comfort House in McAllen. She was born on Friday, June 13, 1924 in Dolores, Hidalgo, Gto., Mexico to Teodoro Sanchez and Apolinar Grifaldo. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband;Gregorio Padron, and brother; Ascencion (Consuelo (+)) Cervantes.
Left to cherish her memories are her children; Serafin Padron, Jose Francisco (Maria) Padron, Jose Manuel Padron and Aurora Padron, 6 - grandchildren, and 6 - great grandchildren.
Antonia lived in Edinburg most of her life and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church since 1948. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, doing needle work and was well known for her cooking. She was a very compassionate and loving neighbor. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched.
Her family will receive friends, today, Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Edinburg. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
