Aurora Klosa, 96, entered eternal rest on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Retama Nursing Home in Edinburg, Texas after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born on a Tuesday, December 15, 1925 in McAllen, Texas to Donaciano Rodriguez and Maria Garza Rodriguez. She is preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband; Juan N. Cavazos of Edinburg, Texas, 2nd husband; Floyd Klosa of Chicago, Illinois, daughter; Margaret Louise Cavazos, brothers; Robert Rodriguez and Raul Rodriguez, sisters; Evangelina Rodriguez, Oralia Garcia and Mary Ruzcika and son in law William Ouellette, Sr.
Aurora is survived by her loving children; Aurora Ouellette, Sylvia (Joseph) Jucha and Virginia Cavazos, brothers; Donaciano Rodriguez, Jr. and Richard Rodriguez, grandchildren; Warren Ouellette, William Ouellette, Jr, Helene Montalvo, Brian Jucha and Nick Jucha, 11 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In memory of our mother, as we say goodbye, you left us with beautiful memories. We will always remember your sense of humor. Your love is still our guide, although we cannot see you, we know you are always at our side. We will never be apart, no matter what happens. A Mother’s love is always and forever. She will be greatly missed by the family, friends and all those whose lives she touched.
Her family will celebrate her life with a Memorial Mass on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at St Joseph Catholic Church, 114 West Fay Street, Edinburg, Texas at 10:00 AM. Services will conclude after the memorial mass. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and Staff at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
