She is preceded in death by her parents, brother; Rogelio Salazar and sisters; Idolinda Salazar and Celia Salazar.
Carolina is survived by her husband of 20 years; Natividad Montenegro, sons; Johnny Locust and Juan Manuel Zavala, daughters; Sallie Carol Locust Lopez and Evangelina Marie Locust-Saunders, sister; Eablina Salazar, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
