Cristobal Agustin Guzman, 42, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 26, 20255 t Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas. Born on a Sunday, August 8, 1982 in Edinburg to Tomas Guzman and Cynthia Aguilar Guzman. He is preceded in death by his father.
Left behind to cherish his memories is his wife of 17 years; Elia Nelly Guzman, son; Izaiah Juarez, daughter; Alayna Guzman, mother; Cynthia A. Guzman, siblings; Cynthia (Alex) Saucedo, Shari Guzman, Orlando Guzman and Cristina (Fred Sepulveda Guzman, 2 nieces and 3 nephews.
Cris was a 2000 graduate of Edinburg North High School in Edinburg and he proudly served in the United States Marine Corp shortly after. He worked at Primo Trading LLC for 5 years and most recently worked at Delta Specialty Designs for 17 years. He will always be remembered as a good father, husband and son, always willing to help others. His favorite pasttimes were bar-b-quing, shooting /target practice, he loved music but especially spending time with his family & friends making lasting memories. He will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched.
The Guzman Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 4:00 PM -8:00 PM with a prayer service at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg with a burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road in Edinburg. Having the honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Izaiah Juarez, Orlando Guzman, David Ibarra, James Ibarra, Tony Martinez, Juan Lopez, Rick Casas and Ronnie Laralde. Military honors will be conducted by the USMC. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Funeral Director/Manager and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
