Cruzita “Marty” C. Guerrero, 67, entered eternal rest on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center in Edinburg. She was born May 2, 1947 in Edinburg, Texas to Luis Corpus and Jesusa Estrada Corpus. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Rosa C. Gaona.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 30 years, Abraham Guerrero; Daughter, Maria Isabela (Kingzu) Alvarado; sisters, Victoria C. Reyna, Paulina C. Ruiz, Anita Corpus, Raquel C. Rosales, Rosaura C. Thus, Isabel Corpus, Benita C. Salazar, Consuelo Perez; brothers, Carlos Corpus, Florencio Corpus, Hector Rosales, Benito Rosales; Grandchildren, Jorge Mondragon, III, Joseph Matthew Mondragon, Jayden Abraham Alvarado, and Gabriella Sofia Alvarado.
Marty, as she was affectionately known, lived in Edinburg her whole life. She worked for the PSJA ISD cafeteria for 10 years. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all those whose lives she touched.
Family received friends Wednesday, January 7, 2015 for a memorial service in the Family Chapel at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
