Crystal Yvonne Rodriguez, 35, entered eternal rest on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center in Edinburg. She was born on Friday, September 18, 1981 in Brownsville, Texas to Homer Garcia and Maria Isabel Gonzalez Rodriguez. She is preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law; Alma Rodriguez.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband; Marco Antonio Rodriguez, daughter; Brianna Marie Rodriguez, son; Brian Austin Rodriguez, mother; Maria Isabel Garcia, brothers; Jose Garcia and Jorge Alberto Martinez, sisters; Patricia Ann (Pablo) Salazar, Monica (Gerardo) Salazar, and Veronica Martinez, numerous nieces and nephews.
Crystal graduated from Edinburg High School in 1999 and was a member of the Edinburg Bobcats Sergeanettes. She attended the University of Pan American where she received her masters in English with a minor in Spanish. She enjoyed designing and shopping so much, that she even owned her own businesses. She owned Kiddos Kouture and most recently House of Designs & Apparel. Her greatest joy was being a "Mom" to her children and spending all of her time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched. She will always be remembered for her humbleness and big beautiful smile.
Her family will receive friends today, Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 114 West Fay Street in Edinburg. Catholic burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Brianna Marie Rodriguez, Brian Austin Rodriguez, Jose Carreon, Gerry Salazar, Joshua Salazar and Jonathan Salazar. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
