Daniel Acevedo

Daniel "Danny" Acevedo, 49, entered eternal rest on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at his residence in Edinburg. He was born on a Thursday, December 7, 1972 in McAllen. He is preceeded in death by his mother; Juanita Perez Acevedo.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughters; Addie Villarreal, Alyssa Acevedo and Emily Acevedo, sisters; Alicia (Ramon) Perez and Teresa (Gilbert) Garza, grandchildren; Alexa Garcia, Miah Garcia and Adalberto Garcia, mother of his children; Rosalinda Rendon, numerous nieces and nephews.
Danny lived in Edinburg all of his life and was a graduate of Edinburg High School, Class of 1991. He played baseball and was a member of the Edinburg Bobcat marching band. He was the proud owner of Ace Service Company. He enjoyed watching movies, baseball, fishing, bar-b-quing and most importantly spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.
His family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers: Andrew Garza, Gilbert Garza, Ramon Perez, David Blanco, Ramiro Rendon and Xavier Vasquez. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
