EDINBURG — Daniel “Danny” Avila, 24, entered eternal rest on Friday, January 31, 2014 in McAllen, Texas. He was born on September 13, 1989 in Illinois to Juan A. Avila and Rosemary Martinez Avila.
Left to cherish his memories are his parents, Juan A. and Rosemary Avila; daughters, Valerie Danielle, Desiree, Khloe Christine and Katelyn Grace Avila; brother, Jesse Avila; sister, Crystal Avila; companion, Annais Gutierrez; paternal grandparents, Juan and Josefina Avila; maternal grandparents, Juan and Angelita Martinez, numerous aunts and uncles.
Danny was an assistant manager at Freedom Fitness and a member of TWT – Motorcycle Club. He was a generous and kind person who will always be remembered for his smile. He will be missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched, but his memories will live on in the hearts of his family.
The Avila family will receive family and friends today, Sunday, February 2, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn, Edinburg, Texas. Christian Mass will be held Monday, February 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be Jesse Avila, Ricardo Gutierrez, Armando Martinez, Cesar Avila, Christopher Urbina, Michael Ocanas and Damian Urbina. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
