David Andrew Gonzales

David Andrew Gonzales, 44, entered eternal rest on Friday, January 24, 2025 at his residence in Edinburg. He was born on a Tuesday, August 19, 1980 in Edinburg, Texas to Juan Jose Gonzales and Diana Rios Gonzales.

David is survived by his loving son; Aidan James Gonzales, parents; J.J. and Diana Gonzales, brothers; J.J. (Denise) Gonzales and A.J. (Christina Reyes) Gonzales, best friend; Gilbert Gomez and a host of extended family members and friends.

David graduated from Edinburg High School in 1998 and worked as a property manager and broker for many years. He enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling, Tennessee Titans, New York Yankees, collecting action figures, Transformers, and classic cars. He also enjoyed playing jokes on people and listening to Spanish music. His greatest pride and joy is his son. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.

His family will receive friends on Monday, January 27, 2025 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and Staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home.
