EDINBURG- Dolores De La Rosa, 53, entered into eternal rest on November 5, 2013 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, TX. She was born to Roberto Rodriguez and Dolores Pinon on March 13, 1960 in Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Santa Cleotilde Rodriguez.
She is survived by her loving family; husband of 30 years, Eligio De La Rosa; sons, Roberto Lee Rodriguez, Raul de La Rosa, Adrian De La Rosa, Israel Allen (Andrea) De La Rosa; brother, Pascual Rodriguez-Pinon; Sister, Petra Rodriguez-Torres; grandchildren, Coral Monserrat Rodriguez, Mary Jane De La Rosa, Raul De La Rosa, Jr., Maya Lugo, Arie Lugo, L. Jay Allen De La Rosa, Israel Allen De La Rosa, Jr., Nicole Dolores De La Rosa, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dolores lived most of her life in Edinburg. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. She loved going to church, cleaning, and watching her novelas. She will truly be missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
Family will receive friends today, Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 2:00 p.m.-9:00p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. A Christian mass will be held Friday, November 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be Eligio De La Rosa, Israel De La Rosa, Raul De La Rosa, Robert Rodriguez, Manuel Hernandez, Jairo Rodriguez, Anastacia Hernandez, and Sabrina Richardson. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
