Dominga Soliz, 69, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. She was born March 15, 1942 in Yorktown, Texas to Juan Soliz, Sr., and Saturnina Castro Soliz.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers; Manuel Soliz, Ignacio Soliz, Jesus Soliz, and Vicente Soliz, sister; Juliana Muniz.
Dominga is survived by her son; Martin Hard, daughters; Natalie (Hector) Gutierrez, and Jessica (Abel) Robledo, brothers; Eustacio (Rosalia) Soliz, Juan (Santos) Soliz, Jr., and Alfredo Soliz, sister; Guadalupe (Johnny) Anzaldua, grandchildren; Mia Gutierrez, Carmen Robledo, Alexandra Robledo, and Filimon Robledo, numerous nieces and nephews.
Dominga loved crocheting and gardening. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She will truly be missed by all of her family, friends and all those who knew her.
The Soliz family will receive friends, today, December 16, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. A Christian Mass will be held, Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
