Dora G. Perez, 92, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center in Edinburg. She was born in Edinburg, Texas on November 03, 1923 to Matilde and Francisca Garza. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Perez, Jr.; son, Rick Perez and parents.
Left to cherish her memories are her children; Fred (Diana) Perez, III, Nora Linda (Danny) Villalba, Robert (Patricia) Perez, Ralph (Norma) Perez; daughter-in-law, Lydia Perez; grandchildren, Lisa (Jorge) Alvarez, Litsa Perez, Fred (Monica) Perez, IV, Nicolas Villalba, Jonas (Mindy) Villalba, Abram Villalba, Jackie (Steve) Watson, Kathy (Fernando) DeLeon, Patricia Perez, Rachel Perez, Erika Perez, Derick Perez, Brandon Perez, Stefanie Self and Aaron Perez, 13 – great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Dora worked as a paralegal secretary for the Law Offices of J.C. Hall and Ramon Garcia until her retirement. She loved to read and listen to music, but her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched.
Her family will receive friends, today, November 13, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Christian services will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home with her son Robert officiating. Christian burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be Fred Perez, IV, Aaron Perez, Brandon Perez, Derick Perez, David Perez, Amando Chapa and Andrew Alvarez. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
