Elias Cruz

Elias Cruz, 51, entered eternal rest on Monday, June 10, 2024 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas. Elias was born on a Monday, July 17, 1972 in Edinburg, Texas to Magdaleno Cruz, Jr. and Ana Salinas Cruz. He is preceded in death by his father, 2 brothers; Eliseo Cruz and Adino Cruz, 2 sisters; Dorem Cruz and Areli Cruz.

Elias is survived by his loving wife of 11 years; Edith A. Cruz, son; Sebastian (Michelle) Cruz, 4 daughters; Abelina Cruz Garcia, Felisha Cruz, Stephanie Cruz and Maiti Solis, mother; Ana S. Cruz, brother; Juan “Johnny” Cruz, sisters; Magdalena “Maggie” Cruz, Dina Cruz, Genovi Ollervidez and Cristabel Lopez, 10 Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was truck driver by trade and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed watching wrestling, novellas and action movies. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.

The Cruz Family will receive friends on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service @ 7:00 PM at Jesucristo El Sanador Revivals, 2106 East Richardson Road, Edinburg, Texas. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Jesucristo El Sanador Revivals. Burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road, Edinburg, Texas. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Funeral Director/Manager at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
