Esteban Martinez, Sr., 66, entered eternal rest on April 7, 2010 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born October 14, 1943 in Raymondville, Texas to Luis and Josefina Martinez.
Mr. Martinez is preceded in death by his parents; brother; Lauro Martinez, and sister; Anastacia Martinez.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 48 years, Amalia Martinez, sons; Esteban Martinez, Jr., Jose Luis Martinez, daughters; Letty (Erasmo) Flores, Diana Martinez, Sandra Jane (Juan) Calderon, brothers; Adan Martinez, Luis Martinez, Jose Nieves Martinez, Baldemar Martinez, Guadalupe Martinez, sisters; Epifania Rosales, Enriqueta Rodriguez and 8 grandchildren.
Family will receive friends Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian services were held on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg., Texas. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
