Eusvelia V. Villarreal

Eusvelia V. Villarreal, 73, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Senior Care Rehabilitation Center in Edinburg. She was born on Thursday, April 20, 1944 in Veracruz, Mexico to Isidro Vasquez and Elena Dominguez Vasquez. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband; Ramiro E. Villarreal.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughters; Araceli (Domingo) Porras, Ana Maria (Jay) Alonzo, and Alma Alicia (John) Guiza, and 13 - grandchildren.
Eusvelia lived in Edinburg most of her life and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She worked for the Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District for over 27 years as a cook at South Junior High and North Junior High. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and embroidery. Her greatest joy was taking care of children. She will be missed by her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched.
Her family received friends on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic burial will follow to Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery, 2520 South Inspiration Road in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Anthony Alonzo, Adam Alonzo, Alex Alonzo, Abel Alonzo, Aven Alonzo, Dante Porras, Daniel Porras and David Porras. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
