Eutiquio “Kiko” Flores, Jr., 61, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas. He was born on a Thursday, July 11, 1963 in Edinburg, Texas to Eutiquio Flores, Sr. and Maria Del Socorro Almanza-Flores. He is preceded in death by his mother.
“Kiko” as he was affectionately known, is survived by his loving sons; Marco Antonio (Alyssa) Flores and Kenneth Eutiquio Flores, III., father; Eutiquio Flores Sr., sister; Esmeralda Flores, brother; Aaron Flores and two granddaughters; Isabella Flores and Sophia Flores.
He was an Edinburg High School graduate, class of 1981. He worked with the McAllen Fire Department for 32 years as a firefighter and driver. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as spending time at Chano’s, Danny’s and Fast Eddie’s. His favorite past time was spending time with his loving family. Kiko will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched.
The Flores family will pray a rosary on April 4, 2025 from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. A memorial mass will follow at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Services for Kiko will conclude after the memorial mass. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Funeral Director/Manager and staff at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral home in Edinburg.
