Florentino Yracheta

Florentino "Popo" Yracheta, 88, entered eternal rest on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center in Edinburg. He was born on Wednesday, October 16, 1929 in Robstown, Texas to Zenon Yracheta, Sr. and Maria Rosales Yracheta. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish Popo's memories are his wife of 61 years; Elida M. Yracheta, daughter; Gloria (Juan Adame) Yracheta, sisters; Anastacia Cortez, Francisca Cantu, San Juana Rochell, Victoria Ramos, and Lupita Yracheta, brothers; Timoteo Yracheta, Simon Yracheta, Zenon Yracheta, Jr., and Jose Florentino Yracheta, 3 - grandchildren, 15 - great grandchildren, 1 -great great grandson, numerous nieces and nephews.
Popo was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and lived in Edinburg most of his life. He worked for 30 years until his retirement in 1997 at the Hidalgo County Irrigation Water District. He was a hard work and family man. He will be missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.
The Yracheta family will receive family and friends on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1302 East Champion Street in Edinburg with Father Tom officiating. Catholic burial will follow to Val Verde Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 6200 North Val Verde Road in Donna, Texas. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
