Francisca Mesa Cavazos

Francisca Mesa Cavazos, 85, entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at her residence in San Juan, Texas. She was born in Los Ramones, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on a Monday, October 30, 1939 to Rodolfo Mesa and Florinda Pena. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband; Jesus Cavazos.  

She is survived by her loving children; Norma Hilda Saldivar, Rosalinda (Carlos) Zarate, Nora Imelda (Ricardo) Ramirez, Hugo Cesar Cavazos, Silvia Nelly (Eduardo) Pacheco, Miriam (Armando) Montelongo, Jesus Alberto Cavazos, Juan Martin (Evelyn) Cavazos and Irma (Rolando) Gallegos, 27 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Francisca was known for her cooking skills as well as sewing and being a hairdresser. She was a homemaker by nature but her favorite titles were mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved spending time with her entire family. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

The Cavazos family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM with a prayer service to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. Direct burial will take place on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM at San Juan Cemetery, 405 East Cemetery Road, San Juan, Texas. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Funeral Director/Manager and staff at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
