Francisca Zambrano

Francisca Zambrano, 79, entered rest on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen. She was born on a Friday, January 29, 1943 in Cestohowa, Texas to Teodolo Perez and San Juana Alvarez Perez. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Cirilo Zambrano, Sr., sons; Luis Antonio and Gregorio Zambrano, son-in-law; Jesus Garza, Jr., 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Francisca is survived by her children; Cirilo (Velma) Zambrano, Margarito (Eva) Zambrano, Oralia Garza, Dalia (Russell) Armstrong, Adolfo (Norma) Zambrano, Elizabeth Zambrano, Elvira (Armando) Najera and Eloisa Zambrano, 43 grandchildren, 75 great grandchilldren, numerous great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Francisca lived in Edinburg most of her life and enjoyed gardening and attending to her flowers. She lived life to the fullest, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
The Zambrano family will receive friends Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Joshua Penny, Randy Cruz, DeRandy Zambrano, Daniel Najera, Ivan Zambrano and Juan Gamboa. Honorary pallbearers will be: Rudy Zambrano, Jacob Beccera, Steve Najera, Sierra Garza, Jason Beccera, Adolfo Zambrano, Crystal Zambrano and Armando Najera. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home.
