Francisco Badillo, Jr.

Francisco Badillo, Jr., 70, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas. He was born on a Thursday, May 13, 1954 in Toppenish, Washington to Francisco Badillo, Sr. and Florencia Lopez Badillo. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Alejandro Badillo and Rogelio Badillo and sister in law; Olga Badillo.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years; Maria Badillo, son; Francisco Badillo, III, daughter; Mary Ann Badillo, 6 grandchildren; Jaden Badillo, Brandon Badillo, Eulalio Rodriguez, III, Felicia (Jerome) Rodriguez-Thomas, Derek Rios and Gilbert Hernandez, 1 great granddaughter; Rosabella Rodriguez, siblings; Ricardo Badillo, Daniel (Maribel) Badillo, Hermelinda Badillo, Yolanda (Lenny) Burr, Maggie (Marty) Stephen, Diana (George) Caballero and Delia Badillo and sister in law; Gloria Badillo as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Francisco was a hard working, loving and caring man all his life, providing for his family being his number one priority. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed BBQ with his family. A favorite past time was to try his hand at luck but buying lottery tickets and eating watermelon. But his greatest joy was spending time with his family and his grandchildren. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.

The Badillo Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 13, 2025 for a viewing from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home. Services for Mr. Badillo will conclude after the funeral service.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Funeral Director/Manager and staff at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
