Guadalupe Reyna

Guadalupe Reyna, 94, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 14, 2022 at her residence in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on a Wednesday, December 21, 1927. She is preceded in death by her husband; Jose Guadalupe Reyna, parents; Leandro Sauceda and Estela Martinez, son; Emilio Reyna, siblings; Francisca Filla, Maria De Los Angeles, Margarita Baldazo, Juanita Sauceda, Patra Sauceda, Refugia “Cuca” Renteria, Theodora “Lolo” Luna, Maria “Ines” Sauceda Gomez, Felicita “Feliz” Martinez, Santos Sauceda, Ignacio “Nacho” Sauceda and Ramon Sauceda.
Guadalupe is survived by her daughters; Rosa Linda “Rosie” (Jose +) Lopez and Gloria (Ruben) Moraida; Seven Grandchildren and Twelve Great Grandchildren. Guadalupe was a woman of faith, loved music and dancing, was a beloved wife, sister daughter, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. The family would like to extend special thanks to AAdi Home Health and Hospice for the loving care they showed Guadalupe. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched. The family will hold a private funeral service in Edinburg, Texas.
Her family will receive friends on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 10:00AM – 1:00 PM for a viewing with a rosary to be prayed at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn, Edinburg, Texas. A catholic mass will be held at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn, Edinburg, Texas with a burial following at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road, Edinburg, Texas. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Isaac Lopez, Ruben Moraida, Jr., Rene Moraida, Alec Mancias, Hugo Mancias and Rolando Martinez. Funeral Services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
