Jesus Montes de Oca

Jesus “Chuy” Montes de Oca, 48, entered eternal rest on Monday, August 23, 2021 his residence in Edinburg. He was born on Friday, February 16, 1973 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Jesus Montes de Oca and Maria Fuentes. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Jesus is survived by his children; Paloma (Jesus Jimenez) Torres, Paola (Reynaldo) Moreno, Hugo (Vanessa Casanova) Moya, Luis Daniel Torres and Luisa Alejandra (Daniel Espinoza) Montes de Oca. Two sisters; Belen & Abigail and a brother, Antonio; 17 Grandchildren and his mother, Eva M. Leines de Gonzalez.
Chuy lived in Edinburg, was a hardworking man who worked at an Events Center and enjoyed working in construction. He enjoyed watching soccer and was known to be a very good cook. He took pride in his children and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
The Montes de Oca family will receive friends on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a Holy Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg, Texas. Service will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Jesus Garza officiating at the Chapel of Peace, burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 14701 East Richardson Road, Edinburg, Texas. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Hugo Moya, Luis Torres, Daniel Espinoza, Jesus Jimenez and Jovanni Jimenez. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
