Jesus Angel Tagle, Sr.

Jesus Angel Tagle, Sr., 79, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas. He was born on Friday, October 26, 1945 in Edinburg, Texas to Alfredo Ernesto Tagle and Esther Franz Tagle. He is preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers; Heron Tagle, Danny Tagle, Francisco Tagle, Alberto Tagle and Alfredo Tagle and 2 sisters; Marina Camacho and Amada Sanchez.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Gloria A. Tagle, sons; Albert (Lorena) Tagle, Christopher (Angela) Tagle and Jesus Tagle, Jr., brother; Roberto Tagle, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jesus proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a truck driver but enjoyed life as well by fishing, spending time on his yard and playing the lottery. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and doting on his grandchildren and great grandchildren as often as he could. He will always be remembered as a loving family man. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched.

The Tagle Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM with Singing @ 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home. Burial with full Military Honors will be under the auspices of V.F.W. Post #8788 of McAllen will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery, 2520 Inspiration Road, Mission, Texas. Funeral services are under the direction of Johnny Garcia, Funeral Director/Manager and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
