Joel Iv Lopez, Sr., age 58, passed away to be with our Lord on March 23, 2010 In Edinburg. He was born in Elsa, Texas on August 2, 1951 to Jesus Lopez and Emilia Chavera.
Mr. Lopez is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Alex Lopez, Sr.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 35 years, Terry Lopez, sons; Joel Iv (Erica) Lopez, Jr., Daniel Isaac Lopez, daughters; Melissa L. (Alfredo) Saldivar, Sarah E. (Joseph Michael) De Los Santos, brother; Israel C. Lopez, sister; Beatrice S. Dominguez and 4 Grandchildren
Family will receive friends today, March 26, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service to be recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian services will be held on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at United Pentecostal Church Greater Life Tabernacle in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
