Jose Reducindo Anaya Jr.

Jose "Joe" Reducindo Anaya, Jr., 55 entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center in Edinburg. He was born on Thursday, March 12, 1964 in Edinburg, Texas to Jose Reducindo, Sr. and Maria Natividad Perez Anaya. He is preceded in death by his father and sister; Teresa Anaya.
Joe is survived by his son; Daniel Anaya, daughters; Monica Anaya, Beatriz Adriana (James Castillo) Anaya and Amanda Nicole (Leeroy Gutierrez) Anaya, mother; Natividad P. Anaya, brothers; Martin Anaya, Rogelio Anaya, Alberto Anaya and Eric Lee Anaya, sister; Alejandra Anaya, 13 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Joe lived in Edinburg all of his life and was a graduate of Edinburg High School Class of 1982. He worked for the City of Edinburg Water and Sanitation department for 10 years, Hidalgo County Head Start as a bus driver for 6 years and then with Paws & Claws Pet Resort for the last 7 years before getting sick. He enjoyed fishing, watching WWE Wresting, Western movies, baking and spending time with his family and horse; El Guero. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all those who knew him.
His family will receive friends today, Friday, July 19, 2019 from 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1302 East Champion Street in Edinburg. Catholic burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbears will be: Daniel Anaya, Rogelio Anaya, Eric Anaya, James Castillo Leeroy Gutierrez and Leeroy Gutierrez, Jr. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos- Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
