Jose Lopez

Jose Ricardo Lopez, 52, entered eternal rest Monday, November 11, 2024 at McAllen Heart Hospital in McAllen, Texas. He was born on a Saturday, May 6, 1972 in Xicotencatl, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Nicholas Lopez and Maria de Jesus Lopez. He is preceded in death by father and 2 sisters; Olga Lopez and Maria de la Luz Lopez.

He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years; Sofia Rodriguez de Lopez, bothers; Mario Lopez, Antonio Lopez, Juan Jose Lopez, Daniel Estrada, Guadalupe Estrada, Michael Estrada, Jesus Estrada and Joe Estrada and sister; Mary Lopez.

Jose was known to be a hardworker and worked for Risica and Sons for 10 years. He loved to travel and play loteria. But he especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by her family and all those whose lives he touched.

The Lopez Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 3:0 PM - 8:00 PM with a prayer service to be held at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens, 6200 Val Verde Road, Donna, Texas. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Funeral Director/Manager and staff at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
