Jose Luz Lopez

Jose Luz Lopez, 76, entered eternal rest on August 17, 2010 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. He was born March 19, 1934 in San Agustin, Los Herreras, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Ernesto Lopez and Felicitas Salinas. He is survived by his wife of 53 years; Gabriela Lopez, daughter; Nora Lopez, sister; Maria (Rafael) Lopez and numerous nieces and nephews. Jose is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; David Lopez, Sabas Lopez, sister; Ernestina Partida. Manuel was a very hardworking man. He liked to fish, sing, dance and play Bingo. He was a calm person and loved spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Visitation for Manuel was held on Thursday, August 19, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg with a rosary held at 7:00 p.m. Christian services were held Friday, August 20, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial followed to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg
