Juan Antonio Hernandez, 58, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born January 14, 1955 to Florencio Antonio Hernandez and Ramona Uribe Hernandez.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother; Jose Salvador Hernandez, and brothers-in-law; Rogelio Najera and Carlos Buitron.
Juan is survived by his wife of 39 years; Ester Hernandez, daughters; Jennifer Ann (David, Jr.,) Guerrero and Jessica Hernandez, brother; Jose Luis (Alicia) Hernandez, sisters; Carmen Najera, Josefina (Juan) Mena, Maria (Arturo Delgado) Salinas, Rosa Maria Buitron, Lucina (Olivero Cruz) Hernandez and Maria Alicia Hernandez, grandchildren; Justin D. Guerrero, Stephanie Lynn Guerrero, Clarissa D’Ann Guerrero, Delila Denise Gutierrez, Alexandria Gutierrez, John Albert Gutierrez, numerous nieces and nephews.
Juan worked for Mo-vac for 17 years until his retirement. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, watching boxing and car shows, camping, the outdoors and barbecuing, but his greatest joy of all was spending time with his family. He will truly be missed.
The Hernandez family received friends yesterday, Friday, April 12, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. A Christian mass will be held today, Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are David Guerrero, Jr., Justin Guerrero, Arturo Delgado, Juan Mena, Jose Luis Hernandez, and Roy Marquez. Funeral services were entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
