Juana Maria Sanchez

Juana Maria Sanchez, 86, entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. She was born on a Sunday, August 25, 1935 in Linares, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Anselmo Luna and She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Pablo Sanchez.
Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her daughters; Mary Sanchez Perez and Diana (Ernest) Cantu and sons; Leonardo (Maria Guadalupe) Moreno, Antonio (Norma) Sanchez, Michael Ray (Dulce) Sanchez and Eric Lee (Julie) Sanchez, 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, as well as numberous nieces and nephews.
Juana lived in Edinburg most of her life. She had a love for her family and life often taking pleasure in her love of sunflowers and gardening. She often enjoyed Chinese food, spicy foods and watching many sports, in particular football, soccer, boxing and wrestling. She lived life to the fullest and will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn, Edinburg, Texas. Catholic Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn in Edinburg. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director & Staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
