Lamberto Marin, 79, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas. He was born September 17, 1932 in Zaccatecas, SLP, Mexico to Maria de Jesus Marin and Refugia Haro Marin. He is preceded in death by his parents and son; Lauriano Rodriguez.
Lamberto is survived by his wife of 47 years; Juanita A. Marin, son; Major Roberto Marin, daughters; Gloria (Robert) De Leon and Jayne Rico, grandchildren; Dalinda (Elias) Moran, Roberto Roel De Leon, II, Roel Ricardo De Leon, Raymond Ray De Leon, Taylor Rico, and Jacob Rico, numerous nieces and nephews.
Lamberto loved farming and the outdoors. He enjoyed raising and racing horses and other farm animals. One of his favorite pastimes was watching western movies and spending time with his grandchildren. He will truly be missed by all of his family and friends.
The Marin family will receive friends Friday, December 30, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the Family Chapel at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. A Christian Service will be held Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Family Chapel at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Valle de la Paz Cemetery in Hargill, Texas. Funeral services were entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
