Laura Lee Balderas, 32, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. She was born on Monday, June 10, 1985 in Weslaco, Texas to Gabino Balderas, Jr. and Leticia Gonzalez Balderas. She is preceded in death by her grandfather; Gabino Balderas, Sr. and father; Gabino Balderas, Jr.
Laura is survived by her mother; Leticia G. Balderas, daughters; Ciara Juliett and Kimberlee Rozie Silva, husband; Silvester Silva, brothers; Gabino (Melinda) Balderas,III and Sergio De la Cruz, sister; Melaine (Eugenio Cantu) Balderas, nephews; D'Angelo Balderas and Ismael E. Cantu, and niece; Ashley C. Cantu.
Laura attended Edinburg North High School. She worked for ACE Home Health Agency as a provider for 4 years. She enjoyed crafting and watching Life Time Movies, but her greatest joy was spending time with her daughters and family.
Her family will receive friends today, Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic burial will follow to the Balderas Family Cemetery, 22207 FM 490 in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Gabino Balderas, III, D'Angelo Balderas, Silver Silva, Daniel J. Silva, Sergio De la Cruz and Eugenio Cantu. Honorary pallbearer will be Ismael Cantu. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager and Staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
