Leopoldo “Leo” Trevino, Jr., 31, entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born on January 27, 1984 to Leopoldo Trevino, Sr. and San Juanita Gricelda Gonzalez Trevino in McAllen, TX. He is preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Banessa Cavazos; daughters, Anahi Luz Trevino, Lya Roxanne Trevino, Gricelda Amalia Trevino, and Nallely Leonor Trevino; mother, San Juanita G. Gonzalez Trevino; brothers, Joey (Wendy) Trevino and Rodolfo Trevino; sister, Jessica (Luis) Reyna and numerous nieces and nephews.
Leo lived in Edinburg for 13 years and worked for Tony’s Service Shop. He enjoyed dancing, fishing, and was known for being a very hard worker. He will be missed by his friends, family, and all those whose lives he touched.
Family will receive friends today, Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 1:00pm – 9:00pm with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00pm in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. A Catholic mass will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 10:00am at St. Jude’s Thaddeus Catholic Church, 505 S. Ironwood, Pharr, TX. Catholic burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be Enrique Cavazos, Jr., Mark Anthony Cavazos, Rodolfo Trevino, Joey Trevino, Fred, and Jose Montoya. Funeral Services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
