Luis Antonio "Tony" Zambrano, 56, entered eternal rest on Friday, May 6, 2016 at his residence in Edinburg. He was born on Friday, June 12, 1959 in San Patricio County, Texas to Cirilo Zambrano and Francisca Perez Zambrano. He is preceded in death by his father in 2000 and brother; Gregorio Zambrano in 1995.
Tony is survived by his mother; Francisca P. Zambrano, daughters; Emmalie (Silvestre) San Martin, Jennifer (Daniel) Santana, Norma Zambrano, Christal Zambrano, Amy Zambrano and Andrea Zambrano, siblings; Cirilo (Velma) Zambrano, Jr., Margarito (Eva) Zambrano, Adolfo (Norma) Zambrano, Oralia Z. (Jesus (+)) Garza, Dalia (Russell) Z. Armstrong, Elizabeth Zambrano, Elvira (Armando) Z. Najera and Eloisa Zambrano, 32 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. He lived in Edinburg most of his life. He will be greatly and deeply missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.
His family will receive friends, today, Monday, May 9, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be Derrandy Zambrano, Joshua Penny, Jacob Becerra, Adolfo Zambrano, Jr., Armando Najera, Jr., Robby Hernandez, Steven Najera and Jason Becerra. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
