Mr. Luz Pulido, 79, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at his residence in Edinburg. He was born August 14, 1932 in Edinburg, Texas to Jose Santos Pulido and Julia Regalado Pulido.
Mr. Pulido is preceded in death by his wife; Enedina Ramos Pulido, parents, brothers; Jose Pulido Sr., and Adelmiro Pulido.
He is survived by his sons; Cesar (Olivia) Pulido, Dagoberto (Silvia) Pulido, Jose Luz (Maria Guadalupe) Pulido, and Martin (Cristina) Pulido, daughters; Enedina (Jaime) Garcia and Julia Maria Pulido, brothers; Pedro Pulido, Aron Pulido, Federico Pulido, and Leonel Pulido, II, sister; Maria Singleterry, grandchildren; Cesar Luz (Jazmin) Pulido, Orlando Pulido, Eddieberto Pulido, Joey Pulido, Martin Pulido, Jr., Taylor C. Pulido, Jacquelyn C. Pulido, Cristina Pulido, Clarissa Pulido, Liz G. Pulido, and Karyme E. Pulido, great-grandchildren; Isabella Pulido, Cesar A. Pulido and Camila J. Pulido, numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Pulido loved to listen to music and play the accordion. He especially loved listening to “polkas”. He was a man of wisdom. He enjoyed helping others and giving advice. He was very dedicated to his family and all those who needed his help. He was the Greatest Dad in the world. He will be missed, but his legacy will continue through his family.
The Pulido Family will receive friends today, Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. A Christian Mass will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr, TX. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
