Manuel Suarez

May 5, 1932 — April 20, 2011

Manuel Suarez, 78, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center in Edinburg.  He was bon on May 5, 1932 in Runge, Texas to Sostenes Suarez and Francisca Gonzalez.  He lived in Edinburg most of his life and was a member os Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Capilla de San Jose in Lull.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son; Sostenes Suarez, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 56 years; Isable Rivera Suarez, sons; Alfredo (Ramona) Suarez and Ricardo (Cecilia) Suarez, daughter; Irene (Teodoro R. Jr.,) Garza, sisters; Delia (Luciano) Lopez and Amalia Contreras, daughter-in-law; Norma Suarez, 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Suarez worked with BFI solid waste for 20 years until his retirement in 195.  He loved to watch boxing, football, baseball, wrestiling and car racing, but his greatest love was spening time with his family.  He was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be missed by his family but not forgotten.

The Suarez-Family received friends on Thursday, April 21, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a rosary prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home.  Chirstian services will be held today, April 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of PEace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home.  Christian burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral Services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home.
