Maria Lourdes Ramirez

Maria Lourdes Ramirez, 50, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. She was born in Edinburg, Texas on a Friday, July 10, 1970 to Juan Garces and Maria Socorro Garza Garces. She is preceded in death by her parents and son; Horacio Ramirez, Jr.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 29 years; Horacio Ramirez and children; Noe Ramirez and Cris Ramirez, brothers; Mauricio Garces and Armando (Cyndi) Garces, numerous nieces and nephews.

Lourdes lived in Edinburg most of her life and was a very sociable person and was a joy to have around. Those who knew Lourdes knew she loved to play games, do embroidery and cook for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched.

The Ramirez and Garces family will receive friends Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Burial will follow to Palm Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Pharr. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and Staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home.
