Maria V. Mora

Maria V. Mora, 89, entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Edinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Edinburg. She was born on Thursday, March 15, 1928 in Arteaga, Michocan, Mexico to Isaias Vera and Natividad Cordova Vera.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, grandson; Javier Jesus Moreno, great granddaughter; Lorena Renee Moreno, and son-in-law; Juan Manuel Reyes.
Left to cherish her memories are her children; Rosa Reyes, Yolanda M. (Dennis Ray, Sr.) Ramirez, Carlos David (Noelia O. ) Moreno, and Manuel Isaias (Susie G.) Moreno, 16 - grandchildren, 24 - great grandchildren, 4 - great great grandchildren.
Maria worked for many years at Ruiz Café and Economy Store in Edinburg. She enjoyed making quilts and tamales for all her family and friends. She also prayed the Holy Rosary to the Lady of Guadalupe. She will be missed by her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched.
Her family will receive friends, Monday, April 2, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic burial will follow to La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Carlos David Moreno, Manuel Isaias Moreno, Jimmy Moreno, Rene Daniel Ramirez, Ricardo David Moreno, and Dennis R. Ramirez, Jr. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
