Maria Irma Santos

Maria Irma Santos, 89, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at her daughter’s residence in Stafford, Texas. She was born on a Saturday, June 1, 1935 in Dilley, Texas to Viviano Gonzales and Adela Ruel Gonzales. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 63 years; Jesus Santos, daughter in law; Matilde Santos, son in law, David Presas and grandson; Efrain Rodriguez. 

She is survived by her loving children; Jesus Rene Santos, Eduardo A. (Irma) Santos and Thelma N. Presas, several brothers and sisters as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. 

Maria was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and cooking for her family. She lived life to the fullest and was always the life of the party. She was always very supportive of her family and her husband’s career as a radiologist. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched.

There will be a graveside service at the Rio Grande Valley Texas State Veterans Cemetery Pavilion, 2520 South Inspiration Road in Mission at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 6, 2024. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
