Martina Nava, 88, entered eternal rest on Friday, November 12, 2010 at Las Palmas Nursing Center in McAllen. She was born November 11, 1922 in Martindale, Texas to Cipriano Nava and Paula Ortiz
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Manuel Nava, Gerardo Nava and Ebiodo Nava.
She is survived by her sister; Petra N. Flores, Beatriz Cantu who she loved as a daughter and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
Visitation for Martina will be held today, November 15, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Christian mass will be on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
