Miguel Jimenez, Jr, 50, entered eternal rest on Monday, November 29, 2021 at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. He was born on a Sunday, October 17, 1971 in Edinburg, Texas to Miguel Jimenez and Juana Maria Lopez. He is preceded in death by his father, his son; Matthew Adam Jimenez and father in law, Jose Jackson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years; Ann M. Jimenez, sons; Sgt. Mark Anthony (Giselle) Jimenez and Lcpl Maxim Alexander Jimenez, daughter; Marla Anne Jimenez, Grandsons; Mark Anthony Jimenez, Jr. and Moises Abel Jimenez, Mother in law; Guadalupe “Lupita” Jackson, Mother, 4 sisters, 3 brothers, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
Miguel was a hard worker, working over 22 years at Yellow Freight Transportation. Miguel enjoyed the outdoors with activities such as hunting and BBQ’s but he especially loved being with his family. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.
Viewing will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos -Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1302 East Champion Street, Edinburg, Texas. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road, Edinburg, Texas. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and Staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
