Mirna Ramirez, 68, entered eternal rest at her residence in Edinburg, Texas. Mirna was born on a Friday, January 2. 1956 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Jose Maria Pena and Nazaria Garza Pena. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; Juan Ramirez, Sr., sister; Loida Pena and brother; Benito Pena.
She is survived by her loving children; Lisa Ann Ramirez, Juan M. Ramirez, Jr. and Gisela Ramirez, 9 grandchildren and siblings; Yasmin Rodriguez, Jesus Pena, Jose Socorro Pena, Esther Pena, Jose Maria Pena, Jr. and Dicla Martinez as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mirna worked has a seamstress at Haggars for many years but enjoyed sewing. She was also the owner of Chestnut Avenue Apartments. Mirna enjoyed her novelas but her favorite times were loving and spoiling her family. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.
The Ramirez family will receive friends on Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road, Edinburg, Texas. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Funeral Director/Manager and staff at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
