Norma Linda Grimaldo, 64, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center in Edinburg. She was born in Edinburg, Texas on a Friday, May 4, 1956 to Joaquin Coronado and San Juana Moya Coronado. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Guadalupe Amancio Grimaldo, Jr., grandson; Johnny Coronado, Jr., brother; Luz Coronado and sister; Marisela Coronado.
Left to cherish her memories are her children; Johnny (Cecilia) Coronado, Sr., Roel (Celinda) Coronado, Amancio Girmaldo, III and Kassandra (Abram Escobar) Grimaldo, brothers; Joaquin “Jake” Coronado, Arnold Coronado and Israel Coronado, sisters; Mary Badillo, Gloria Badillo, Yolanda Navarro and Idalia Reyes. Also surviving are 6 - grandchildren, 1- great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Norma enjoyed listening to Christian music and playing bingo. She was a simple woman who loved spending time her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched.
Her family will receive friends today, Saturday, February 6, 2021 and Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM both nights in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February at 9:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park, 1701 East Richardson Road in Edinburg. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and Staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home.
