Pablo Garza, Jr., 72, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Solara Hospital in Edinburg. He was born November 24, 1939 in Edinburg, TX to Pablo Garza, Sr., and Librada R. Garza.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Alejandro, Alfredo and Elias Garza, sisters; Estella Garza, Maria Hinojosa, Irene Garza and Beatriz Lopez.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years; Paula Torres Garza, son; Siquifredo (Aracely) Garza, daughters; Cynthia Garza, Edna (Donald) Wilson, sisters; Alicia Huerta, Lydia Muehlberger, 3 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Garza proudly served his country in the United States Army. He will be missed by all of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
A chapel service will be held Monday, November 12, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission, TX. Having the distinguished honor of serving as pallbearers are Jerry Lopez, Johnny Lopez, Carlos Lopez, Siquifredo Garza, Mark Valdez and Leo Lopez. Military services will be under the auspices of VFW#8788. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
